Artist Research Project
Students will pick an artist they are interested in. They will then complete an interactive webquest to find reliable information on the artist. After completing the webquest students will make a poster that "advertises for their artist. To go along with their poster students will recreate a work of art by that artist with colored pencils on Shrinky Dink film. When the project is complete we will have a mock gallery opening and present our projects.
Artist Research Webquest
Students should use the above webquest to search information about their artists. Students should reword and type the information into the document link in the webquest. Information from that document will be used to create the poster. Students will search out coloring page images of one of their artist's work of art and use that to create their masterpieces.
